HPF message

I have a HPF message on my control…
It appends a couple of times lately, only when I start the system after at least a couple of days not running.
To fix it I remove the pump’s discharge hose, let some water out and reinstall the hose.

Is the pump not priming its self??
Switch problem??

Thanks for any help.

HPF is a protection shutdown letting you know you have a High Pressure Fault meaning the unit is not getting water…Nothing is wrong with your switch..

As you said…Your pump is loosing prime…Take a look at this PDF on page 13…Make sure your seawater plumbing is installed as per the diagram.
