I have passport i/o legacy control black, 5 yrs old that has started scrolling through fan speeds when powered up and will not respond to any control imputs. Put the control unit on another a/c unit with same results.
Is the control unit serviceable or time to replace?

Sorry but the control is not serviceable, but if you are sure it is a Passport "I/O" (and not another version such as Passport II) there are replacements available….A Passport I/O is not backward compatible with older version boards at the other end of the cable.
